
I am the weekday morning anchor at WYMT in Hazard, Kentucky (63). I started as the weekend evening anchor/producer, reporting nightside three days a week. After six months, I was promoted to weekday morning anchor, where I also dayturn stories everyday.

I started my storytelling journey in the Hoosier state at Goshen College. ​

As a college student, I was the news director and the student station manager of 91.1 The Globe and Globe TV. I hosted radio morning shows, news reports, as well as sideline reporting for games.

My first internship was for the radio news station, WTRC, in Mishawaka, Indiana, where I have been a news anchor/reporter for two years. I moved to TV news at the start of my senior year at WNDU in South Bend, where I was the weekend morning reporter.

While at Goshen College, I have been honored with more than 70 national and state awards as well as scholarships. I have also served on the College Radio Day National Board and been featured on Radio Hall of Famer, Fred Jacobs, blog twice. ​
